Getting Started
When you first come in, go over to the touch screen, log in with the password “1900”, and hit the projector “On” button which is on the top left of the touchscreen. Next select your desired source at the top. For the PC near the mixer, select "Rear HDMI".
To use a laptop at the podium, select "Podium" and plug in your laptop at the podium HDMI. Once the projector boots up and you are able to see your selected source, you are done with setting up video. If you don’t see anything, refer to the troubleshooting section of this guide.

Now, it’s time to take care of the audio. Take the cover off of the mixer, and turn it on (the switch is on the back). Once it is on, turn up the sliders on channels 1-8 about 60% of the way up, and do the same for the slider all the way to the right labeled “MAIN”

That prepped our wireless microphones to be used. Now, lets also prepare to use the podium mic. On the touchscreen, select "Microphone Volumes" in the bottom right. Then, select "More" in the bottom right. Now, you are on the page with the podium mic control. Make sure you are not muted, and turn the mic up to about 60%.

Now that the mixer is set up, and our podium mic is set up, we can test our audio. Let's start with computer audio:
If you are using the PC in the back, make sure the headphone jack is plugged into it (this connects it to the mixer). Then, ensure that the knob on the right hand side of the mixer labeled "Aux1" is turned up to about 50%, and you will be able to play audio from the PC through the rooms speakers.

If you are using a laptop, make your way to the stage, and plug in your laptop to the HDMI (if you haven't already). Test the audio on the laptop, and then test the podium microphone. If you cannot hear or see your desired source, refer to the troubleshooting section of this guide.

Next, go to the area behind the stage where the wireless microphones are stored. Grab the amount of microphones you need from the cabinet, and turn them on to test them. If at any point you didn’t hear audio from one of the things you tested, refer to the troubleshooting section of this guide.

Okay, so now you have you video and audio set up and tested. You are good to go for whatever event is going on!
Shutting Down
When your event is done, please return all the microphones used to where you got them from, and put them in the properly labeled microphone cases. Then, go ahead and hit the “Turn Off” button on the touch screen. Next, turn off the mixer using the switch on the back and cover it.

General Tips
Things to keep in mind are that if there are presentations or PowerPoints being shown, then get the presentation materials as soon as possible and load them up on the projector ahead of time.
Also, as the event goes on you may have multiple people speaking into the microphones. Feel free to adjust the volume on the mixer based on how loud the speaker is at the time (having the sliders at 60% will be fine for most speakers though).
NEVER TURN OFF ANY OF THE EQUIPMENT IN THE ROOM BACKSTAGE
Also, please do not turn off the breaker labeled as “Stage Outlet #1” as that powers the podium equipment.

Troubleshooting
Projector Issues
If you’ve turned on the Projector and selected your desired source, yet the source still isn’t reaching the projector, please check the following:

Windows Key (⊞ ) + P
- The projector may be in a display mode that prevents it from appearing how you expect. To fix this issue, press Windows Key (⊞ ) + P and select Duplicate.
- Note: If the computer is left in "Extend" mode while logged out, the computer will display the log in screen, while the projector will stay black until you log in.

Physical/Cabling Issues
Check behind the PC. There should be a black HDMI to Display Port converter plugged onto it. Make sure the HDMI is plugged into the converter, and that the converter is then plugged into the PC.

The other end of this HDMI chord plugs into the HDMI port that’s on the white box that’s located to the side of the computer. You should see a green light if you are transmitting a signal to the port successfully.

If you are using a laptop plugged into the podium, and you have selected "Podium" on the touchscreen, yet you are still not seeing your laptop, check the following:
Is my laptop properly plugged into the HDMI. Is the HDMI properly connected to the gear inside the podium. Then check if the podium itself is properly connected to the floor pocket.

Podium Issues
It’s possible the event before yours may have moved the podium and left it unplugged. To fix this open up the hatch in the ground by where the podium is, and plug all 3 connections back in (power/audio/ethernet). Once you do this, you will be able to see and hear anything connected to the podium setup once again.
Audio Issues
If you have the image on the projector, but still aren’t getting sound, and the sound isn’t muted anywhere on the touchscreen or mixer, click the sound icon in the bottom right corner of the computer's screen. Then, click through the sound source to identify the right one. For the room PC, the correct source is labeled “SoundBoard AUX 1” . Make sure that the Aux1 volume knob on the right hand side of the soundboard are turned up.
For a laptop the sound source will be labeled "Extron Scaler D". Also, ensure that the laptops volume is up, ensure the video or song is turned up in it's player, and ensure that the touchscreen volume is up and unmuted.

Microphone Issues
Make sure the mixer is on and the main output slider is turned up and ensure that it is not muted (the square above the slider is red when muted). Then turn the slider up for channels 1-8 (these are the channels the wireless microphones use).

Another thing to check is if the wireless microphone is set to the correct Group and Channel.
Lav Mic 1: Group 5, Channel 1
Lav Mic 2: Group 5, Channel 2
Lav Mic 3: Group 5, Channel 3
Lav Mic 4: Group 5, Channel 5
Handheld Mic 1: Group 1, Channel 1
Handheld Mic 2: Group 1, Channel 2
Handheld Mic 3: Group 2, Channel 1
Handheld Mic 4: Group 1, Channel 6
