The Remote Application Portal provides student access to specialized applications from off campus.

MAC Steps
Your work must be saved to your personal computer at the end of every session. It will not be saved on the server. Session timeout is 1 hour of inactivity

Access MacOS Update Instructions
- Download and install the Desktop client for your operating system.
- Subscribe to a Workspace with a user account.
- Click ‘Add Workspace’ button
- Enter the following url and click the Add button- https://rdweb.wvd.microsoft.com
- Sign in with your La Salle email address and password.
- Click the Download now link if prompted.
- The application portal will display. Double-click on an application to open it.
- Enter your La Salle email address and password when prompted.
- Copying files to and from the Virtual Desktop for Mac
- Run the File Explorer application to access your virtual desktop profile folder.
- Copy/Paste any coursework files or folders into either the Desktop, Documents, or Downloads folders.
- Copy any coursework from the Virtual Desktop back to your Mac.
Note: If you are experiencing any issues with the Remote Application Portal, ensure that your data is backed up before reaching out to the La Salle University Helpdesk. Technicians may have to delete your profile on the Remote Application Portal in order to resolve issues.
Information stored on the Remote Application Portal will not affect your La Salle University account or OneDrive.
