It is recommended that you use a headset when using Zoom phone on a computer.
The models listed below are recommendations only and are not required to use Zoom Phone.
Recommended Headset Models
Logitech H390 - Standard Model
- Headset plugs into a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port. You will need an adapter or USB hub (not included) if your computer doesn't have an available USB 1.1 or 2.0 port.
- Features an adjustable, padded headband and plush ear pads.
- Digitally enhanced USB audio provides superior sound clarity.
- Noise-canceling microphone blocks unwanted sounds even in a noisy room.
- Convenient in-line volume and mute controls offer easy access.
- Rotating microphone boom swings out of the way when not in use.
- Headset includes an 8' cable.
Logitech H570e - Better Model
- Similar to H390, provides better audio quality
Logitech H340 - Basic Model
- Similar to H390, but does not include volume/mute button on the cable and the ear pads are not as padded.
How to Order
Full-time faculty/staff are eligible to receive one-time optional headset as part of the Zoom Phone implementation project. Instructions to pick up the headset will be sent to your La Salle email when they are available.
Subsequent headsets, and replacements for damaged units, are available for department purchase in OfficeDepot. Please contact your Spend Coordinator for assistance.
