Missing Canvas Course

Is your course missing in Canvas? Students are automatically enrolled in their Canvas course when they register for the course.

Most likely your course is not missing, and just hasn't been published by your instructor yet. Follow the steps below to check and see if you course is published.

Steps for Students

  1. Log in to Canvas
  2. Select Courses (book icon) from the toolbar on the left side.
  3. Select All Courses
  4. Find the course(s) you are looking for in the list-
    • If the course is published, there will be a yes under published, and you can access it by clicking on the course name. You can save it to your Favorites by clicking the star ⭐ icon to the left of the course name.
    • If there is a no, it means that your instructor has not published the course yet. Please contact your instructor for assistance.
    • If the course is under Future Enrollments, either the course is not published or the course is not available yet due to a specific scheduled start date in the future. Please contact your instructor if you believe the course should be published.
    • If the course is not listed anywhere, check your Registration status for the course in Banner Self-Service Registration and verify that you are enrolled and review the course start date. If you have questions about your registration, please contact the Registrar's Office or your academic advisor.
