How to Print on a Mac

Steps for Printing on a Mac

1. Connect your Macbook to the network, either through La Salle Wireless or an Ethernet cable.

2. Go to Printers and Scanners in Settings.

3. Press Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax... on the bottom left and the Add Printer window should appear. 

Select “lasalleprint” then click Add.

4. After adding the printer, it should look like this. Enable “Share this printer on the network” and click Sharing Preferences.

5. Be sure to enable Printer Sharing and lasalleprint. Click Done when finished.

6. After selecting print on a document, you should be prompted to sign in with your LUNA username and password.

7. After logging in, it should prompt you this:

Shortly, the document will disappear, and it will show that there are No Jobs Waiting​​​​​​​. This indicates that you have successfully mapped the printer to your MacBook. Swipe your ID at the nearest printer to release your print job.
