Initiate Bomgar Screen Sharing on a La Salle-issued Windows Device
If your computer is a La Salle-issued Windows device, it should already have the Bomgar Support Button already installed. Please follow the steps below.
- Open the Bomgar Support Button located on your desktop.
- It is expected that technicians are aware you are requesting assistance, either through an appointment or over the phone. If you have been given a session key, select Enter a Session Key. Otherwise, select Connect with Support Team.
Initiate Bomgar Screen Sharing on a Personal Windows Device
If your computer is a personal Windows Device and does not have the Bomgar Support Button installed, please follow the steps below.
- Click the link shared by the support representative via email and download the Bomgar.exe file. You can also go to the Support Portal page if you receive a session key from the technician assisting you. You can get to the Support Portal page through below:
Access La Salle Support Portal
- In the "Session Key" box, enter the session key (seven digit number) provided by the representative and click "Submit" button.
- The bomgar.exe file will be downloaded onto your computer. Run the bomgar.exe file by clicking on it in your downloads folder.
The following image will appear, indicating that your are being connected with a member of the support team.
- When connected, a technician may request to remotely view and access your computer. When prompted, click Allow.
From there, the technician will be able to remotely access your computer and you are all set with Bomgar.
