Microsoft 365 Licenses

Microsoft licenses allow users access to Microsoft applications and services. La Salle has two types of licenses- A1 and A5.

How Licenses are Applied

Licenses are assigned to users based on their affiliation with the University.

A1 Licenses

• Adjunct faculty
• Staff without La Salle-issued computers
• Affiliates
• Emeritus faculty

A5 Licenses

• Full-time faculty
• Full-time staff with La Salle-issued computers
• Students
• Other users who are issued a La Salle computer (temporary access)

How to Check your License Type

The following steps will help you identify which license you are currently assigned.

1. In a browser window, navigate to https://portal.office.com/account/
2. Log in with your LUNA credentials.
3. Click Subscriptions in the left-side menu.
