JMP Student Edition Install

This article outlines the steps to create an account with JMP and download the installer file for Windows and Mac

Steps

  1. Navigate to this link: https://www.jmp.com/en/academic/jmp-student-edition

     
  2. Click “Get JMP for free!” in the center
     
  3. You will see 4 steps to get started with JMP on the next page. Scroll down and click “Get started at My JMP”

     
  4. Enter your La Salle email

     
  5. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and La Salle email.

     
  6. You will be sent a verification code to your La Salle email. Enter that code once it has been received.
     
  7. Click “I accept” under the Terms of Use agreement.
     
  8. Next, under the affiliation section, click Student and enter your course and university information as seen below.

     
  9. Continue to the bottom and fill out your address in the remaining section below, then click Next.
     
  10. You will now need to verify your academic status. To proceed click Start.

     
  11. Enter your La Salle email address in the box.
    11b. It might prompt you to enter it once more.
     
  12. You will now receive an email with a code like the one seen below.
    12b. Enter your email address and the code that was emailed to you.

     
  13. You should now see the message about your request being submitted and to check your email.

     
  14. Now you will be brought to the final step where you can install the Windows or Mac installer of JMP student edition.


    14b. download the installer file
    14c. launch the installer file to install JMP student edition
    14d. launch JMP student edition
    14e. sing into my JMP by entering your La Salle email address. A verification code will be sent to that email address to complete the sign-in
