Connect Android devices to the La Salle ResNet Wireless network.(available only in the Residence Halls).

NOTE: If you are unable to connect to the network and it has been more than a year since you have changed your password, it is possible that your password has expired. Please follow the Knowledge Base article for steps on resetting your password.

Steps

  1. Press your Android phone’s “Settings” button to bring up its Settings menu.
  2. In the Settings menu, click “Wireless & networks”.  
  3. Make sure that Wi‐Fi is turned on and has a green check box.  If not, click the check box to turn on Wi‐Fi.
  4. Once Wi‐Fi has finished turning on, click “Wi‐Fi settings”.
  5. Click “La Salle ResNet Wireless” under the Wi‐Fi networks section. (If you do not see La Salle ResNet Wireless listed, you may be in an area on campus where there is no Wifi service available).
  6. For "EAP method" select PEAP..
  7. For "Phase 2 authentication" select MSCHAPV2.
  8. Select Use System Certificates under "CA Certificates". Enter the domain as luna.lasalle.edu.
  9. Enter your full LUNA email address in the Identity field and account password in the Password field.
  10. Click Connect.
  11. You will be redirected to the Wi‐Fi settings menu and you will be connected to the network.
