Never Used Panopto
- How to Use Panopto with Canvas for Instructors [Watch: 28:53] What is Panopto? How could I use it as an instructor beyond recording my own lectures? How can I get students involved? How can I use it to support interactive learning?
I have Used Panopto, But I'm a Bit Rusty
As university faculty, your support is crucial in helping students navigate their learning experiences with Panopto. Students often reach out for assistance when they struggle to create video assignments, typically due to missing assignment folders. By taking a moment to set up these folders in advance, you enable your students to engage more fully with the material and express their understanding effectively.
Option 1: Instructor Views Presentations Only
Any users with the Viewer role on the parent folder will be able to record and upload videos to the assignments folder, as well as be able to edit and delete their own videos.
Option 2: View Each Other's (Students) Presentations
From the Assignment folder, open the Settings menu. Select the checkbox Allow viewers to see each other's sessions (Fig. 4).
