Summary
The Etrieve Download Manager is a software required to download large amounts of files from Softdocs Content at once.
Installation and Configuration
Installation requires admin access, so you will need to contact the Help Desk for assistance. The installer will download automatically when you attempt to install a large amount of documents, this can be triggered by attempting to download all documents under an initial or document type in Content. The installer can also be found in the IT Sharepoint for those that have access.
Once the Help Desk has downloaded and installed the software, launch it and select a folder location for files to download to like seen below:
How to Use
Etrieve Download Manager must be open before you attempt to download files. Then you can follow the steps below:
- Find an folder in Content that you would download
- Once you have selected it, click on the download button
- Select "OK".
It will then start downloading all the files to the selected folder. The Etrieve Download Manager will also log each download, providing errors or confirmation for each file.
