Detect Multiple Sessions (online) alerts students if they try to access a quiz from a different browser or device, discouraging login sharing and helping maintain fairness. Filter IP Addresses restricts quiz access to approved networks or devices—ideal for proctored or lab-based exams—reducing the risk of unauthorized participation. Both settings can be enabled from the quiz Settings menu when building or editing a quiz.
