What is Procurement Sponsored Online Ordering?
Procurement has entered into agreements with Amazon and W.B. Mason for most of your online ordering needs. W.B. Mason is our preferred vendor for office products. Items should be purchased through them as opposed to Amazon unless they are more expensive.
What can I purchase from these vendors?
Both vendors offer a wide variety of items which are available for purchase at any time. There are a few restricted items that need further review before they can be purchased.
What are restricted items and can I order them?
Restricted items are items that require review prior to purchasing. Some restricted items may conflict with current university contracts with exclusive/preferred vendors and/or current university policies. Please follow the instructions on either ordering system when working with restricted items.
How does the billing work?
Both Amazon and W.B. Mason send the procurement department a monthly bill with all orders from that month. The information given when ordering the items will be used to track back to the department that ordered them. Invoices will be reconciled and uploaded to the departments budget at the time of processing.
How do I get an account to start ordering?
Accounts can be requested via the Procurement Ticketing System’s service catalog.
How does the delivery work?
All deliveries should be sent to La Salle University’s main campus address 1900 West Olney Avenue, Philadelphia PA, 19141. Each online ordering platform allows for additional delivery descriptions such as building and office number. You can also choose to deliver the items to the University’s Mailroom who will deliver the packages upon receipt.
How do I process a return?
Each platform has their own methodology for item returns. Amazon returns can be found within the “Your Orders” section. There will be an option for “Return of Replace Items”. W.B. Mason return instructions can be found within the order history details section labeled “Start a Return”.
Can I order from other vendors online?
Absolutely! Items can be purchased from other vendors if they are not readily available or are priced more competitively on Amazon or W.B. Mason.
